For the agricultural sector

The welfare of your animals is extremely important to you? You want to continue to guarantee the quality of your stored goods? And you want it all to be worry-free? Our fibre cement profiled sheets create the ideal circumstances for you, your animals or your goods. Most agricultural buildings are fitted with fibre cement profiled sheeting, and for very good reasons too.

Advantages

Our fibre cement profiled sheets have unique qualities to ensure a bright future.

  • Excellent acoustic properties, diminishing the stress risk for your animals
  • Withstands chemical influences: fibre cement doesn’t rot and is immune to fungi, bacteria, vermin and chemicals
  • Superior natural ventilation: the natural breathing material minimises condensation and is corrosion free
  • Translucent sheets offer natural daylight where and when you need it
  • Excellent thermal insulation

Insulation

Do you have to insulate the roof of a stable or shed or not? The current price pressure in agriculture is forcing smart investments. We are aware of your challenges and devised different solutions for your roof.

Pigs

Profiled sheets are the solution for pigs, because they do not rust. For pigs, it is recommended to completely insulate the barn. This is easy under the purlin, so you create an airtight building and avoid condensation. Moreover, the dirt is easy to remove with a pressure washer.

Chickens

Chicken stalls are usually heated. To keep the humidity and temperature under control, complete insulation is absolutely recommended. Because regular thorough cleaning is required and for the best circulation of air, it is best to insulate under the purlin.

Dairy and beef cattle

Milk and cattle is not sensitive to cold, so insulation is in principle not necessary. It is more important to ventilate than to insulate against heat stress. The choice usually goes to an open stable, and thus the heat comes in. Insulation would keep it inside, which is why ventilation is the solution. For young cattle, opt for insulation under the purlin to avoid cold and disease with calves.

Horses

You do not have to insulate riding halls because horses can retain their heat for a long time. However, for the stables, a full insulation is recommended. Insulating under the purlin is optimal to optimise the ventilation, but above the purlin offers a cheaper alternative. Horses love profiled sheets because they transmit much less noise.

Why not steel?

Compared with steel or sandwich panels, profiled sheets offer many advantages that promote the welfare of your animals.

Reduce the stress in animals by choosing a sound-absorbing product. In case of heavy rainfall, the sound under our profiled sheets sounds up to 2x softer than with a metal roof construction, with or without insulation.

Fibre cement is an incombustible material. The fire safety of our profiled sheets benefits the safety of humans and animals.
Fibre cement does not rot, does not rust and is insensitive to fungi, bacteria, vermin and chemical influences. An ideal environment for your animals.
Fibre cement is a natural breathable material that minimises condensation and does not give rust formation a chance. Stress in animals due to falling drops of condensate is kept to the absolute minimum.
